Self-Employed Independent Financial Adviser (IFA)
Location: Yorkshire (Field-Based)
Client Bank Inheritance: £10M–£12M AUM | Ideal for Developing Advisers
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and ambitious Independent Financial Adviser, including newly qualified or early-career advisers, to inherit a supportive but smaller client bank in Yorkshire. This is a self-employed, field-based position offering immediate client contact and real earnings from day one.
The Opportunity
You will take over a portfolio of clients with approximately £10M–£12M assets under management, all previously serviced by an established adviser. This makes the role perfect for those who are Level 4 qualified and ready to begin advising immediately, but who may not yet have extensive experience.
Clients are engaged, review-ready, and accustomed to ongoing servicing. You will be expected to step in from day one to maintain these relationships and provide quality financial advice.
First-Year Earnings
With clients paying 1% ongoing, the inherited book generates:
-
£10M AUM: £100,000 ongoing fees → adviser earns £35,000
-
£12M AUM: £120,000 ongoing fees → adviser earns £42,000
Expected first-year income is £35,000–£42,000, before any new business is added, offering a stable foundation while you continue to grow.
