Role Overview:

This is a key administrative support role within the investment management team. The successful candidate will work closely with a group of highly successful Investment Managers, becoming a vital point of contact for clients and ensuring the smooth delivery of service. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual seeking to grow their career within a respected investment firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Investment Managers
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a consistent point of contact
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards
  • Prepare client meeting packs, valuations, and documentation
  • Assist with the preparation of new business pitches and presentations
  • Support transactions such as cash transfers, FX trades, and balance monitoring
  • Proactively manage pipelines, new account setup, and AML documentation
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure operational support (e.g., transfers, corporate actions, static data changes)
  • Promote the use of digital tools and portals among clients
  • Identify and report risks, breaches, or operational issues

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in financial services, ideally in an investment or wealth management setting
  • Strong client service ethos with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident using judgment and initiative in a professional setting

Desirable Backgrounds:

  • Candidates with previous experience in investment administration
  • Individuals from wider financial services looking to transition into investment management
  • Graduates with a relevant degree (e.g., Investments, Economics, Finance, Mathematics) who are local to the Bristol area
