Financial Planning Administrator

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (DOE)
Location: Whitley, Cheshire (Hybrid working available)
An established and highly regarded financial planning firm is seeking an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a key role within the client services function, supporting financial planners and ensuring clients receive a consistently high level of service throughout their financial planning journey.
The Role
Reporting into the Client Services function, you will play an integral part in the day-to-day administration and servicing of client portfolios. You will be highly organised, proactive, and confident in managing multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities

Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, delivering a high standard of service

Liaising with third-party providers, platforms, and professional connections

Maintaining accurate client records and audit trails on internal systems

Arranging and supporting client meetings, including preparation of documentation

Managing client review processes, valuations, and supporting review packs

Processing new business, fund switches, rebalancing, withdrawals, and portfolio transactions

Preparing invoices, monitoring fee agreements, and chasing outstanding payments

Completing post-review action points and general client servicing tasks

Supporting with death claims and other ad hoc client requirements
Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a Financial Planning Administrator or Client Services role within financial services

Strong working knowledge of platforms and back-office systems such as Intelligent Office, Quilter, Aberdeen Wrap, Voyant, FE Analytics, or similar

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines

Confident communicator with a professional, client-focused approach

Strong IT skills and high attention to detail
Working Pattern

Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (with an 8am–4pm finish on alternate Fridays)

Hybrid working available: 3 days office-based, 2 days from home
