Financial Adviser – Client Servicing (Existing Clients Only)
Location: Pattingham, South Staffordshire
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £45,000 plus 20% commission on new business identified

We are currently partnering with a well-established and highly respected Wealth Management practice to recruit a Financial Adviser. This opportunity would suit either an experienced Financial Planner or a technically strong Paraplanner looking to step into a client-facing advisory role.

This position is focused purely on servicing an existing client bank. There is no requirement for cold business development. The emphasis is on delivering high-quality advice, maintaining long-term relationships, and identifying opportunities to enhance client outcomes.

The role is office-based in Pattingham, with a blend of virtual and face-to-face client meetings.


The Role

You will be responsible for managing an established portfolio of clients, providing ongoing financial planning, regular reviews, and proactive advice.


Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients
  • Conduct annual and interim reviews, adapting plans to meet evolving client needs
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships through clear and consistent communication
  • Respond to client queries with professionalism and efficiency

Financial Planning and Advice

  • Review and refine existing financial plans in line with client objectives
  • Identify opportunities to increase funds under management from existing and new clients
  • Provide holistic financial advice across investments, retirement planning, protection, and tax-efficient strategies
  • Work closely with paraplanning and administration teams to produce compliant recommendations
  • Ensure suitability reports meet regulatory and internal standards

Portfolio Monitoring

  • Monitor client portfolios to ensure performance and risk alignment
  • Proactively identify opportunities for rebalancing or strategic adjustments
  • Keep clients informed of relevant market developments where appropriate

Compliance and Record Keeping

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in line with FCA requirements
  • Complete fact-finds, risk assessments, and documentation thoroughly
  • Ensure all advice adheres to regulatory and professional standards

Collaboration

  • Work closely with advisers and the wider operations team to deliver a seamless client experience
  • Delegate administrative tasks where appropriate while maintaining oversight of client outcomes
  • Contribute to best practice initiatives and continuous improvement

About You

We are interested in speaking with both experienced Financial Advisers and qualified Paraplanners seeking a transition into an advisory role.

Requirements

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, or working towards
  • Chartered status, or working towards, is desirable
  • Experience delivering financial advice or detailed client reviews
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and simple manner
