Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and quick learner with strong relationship building skills and a desire to further develop their career in the P&I Insurance industry. The successful candidate will either be an experienced Underwriter seeking a new challenge or a Deputy Underwriter ready to take the next step. This role offers the chance to 'own' accounts, drive results, and progress within a fantastic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite P&I risks within established guidelines and authority limits.
- Assess and evaluate risks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in P&I Underwriting.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
