We have two roles paying between £45,000 and £65,000 working with the US RI market.
Based in London or Worthing in a Hybrid basis.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage your own case load, analysing critical data and factual reports.
- Set appropriate reserves and assist in negotiating settlements directly with Cedants.
- Update claims files with accuracy and compliance with best practices.
- Compile clear and concise written and verbal reports for senior management.
- Maintain strong working relationships with Cedants, Brokers, Co-Reinsurers, and Legal Representatives.
- Comply with all regulatory and company policies, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Contribute to team objectives, providing risk insights, information, and monitoring emerging risks.
- Assist in audits of Cedants and other parties, including due diligence.
- Keep abreast of legal, regulatory, and medical developments in the industry.
- Report important developments, issues, and trends to the Head of Claims.
Requirements for the role:
- 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Reinsurance is essential for more senior role.
