Paraplanner - Glasgow - Chartered Financial Planners - salary to £45,000 - Progression available and encouraged within this growing firm.

MB Fitzgerald Recruitment are currently working with an established and ambitious firm of Chartered Financial Planners based in Glasgow who are looking to hire an experienced Paraplanner for their team. The company specialise in dealing with HNW and UHNW clients and have big expansion plans, with 2 or 3 acquisitions currently in the pipeline. As such it is a very exciting business to be joining.

Working alongside 4 other experienced Paraplanners, you will be responsible for providing full technical support to the Chartered Financial Planners. Responsibilities will include research and report writing, which you should have previous experience of.

Due to the nature of the clients, the services that they provide can be varied, interesting and often complex. This means that it is likely that whoever joins the company will have a lot to learn, however candidates MUST be competent report writers and ideally should have passed (or are currently studying towards) the Level 4 Diploma Financial Planning.

With big expansion plans, there will be plenty of opportunities for the successful Paraplanner to progress within the company if it is their desire. They could realistically progress as an Advisor within 2-3 years (depending on the skill set and experience of the person) or progression in a leadership or compliance capacity is also possible.

Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications, with a wide variety of candidates considered. Range would typically be between £30-45K although they would no rule out any exceptions. You will also receive benefits such as 5% Pension, PMI, DIS and exam support.
