The Role:
As an IFA Administrator, you will provide essential support to a small team of Senior Financial Planners, helping ensure clients receive the highest quality service. You will work closely with the Planners and Paraplanners, gaining broad exposure across the business and the opportunity to develop your career in a highly supportive setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Planners and clients, becoming a trusted point of contact.
- Work closely with Paraplanners to ensure efficient, accurate administration that enhances client experience.
- Prepare for and follow up on client meetings, ensuring all files and paperwork are complete and accurate.
- Assist with scheduling client reviews and ensuring they are timely and compliant with service standards.
- Manage post-meeting administrative actions, including Letters of Authority and submissions to providers, ensuring accuracy and prompt completion.
- Maintain industry knowledge through personal study and attendance at relevant workshops or training.
The ideal candidate:
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience, with at least 1 year in a financial planning/IFA environment.
- A proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Some CII qualifications are desirable but not essential – full support for further professional development will be provided.
- Enthusiastic about working in a smaller practice where your contribution has direct impact.
