MB Fitzgerald are currently working exclusively with a fast growing firm of Wealth Managers based in the centre of Manchester to recruit for a Trainee Client Manager (Trainee Paraplanner).

Set up by Senior Executives with backgrounds in Private Banking and Financial Planning; companies such as Credit Suisse, Coutts, Goldman Sachs and Baker Tilly, this company is competing with the UK's top Wealth Management & Private Banking businesses.

Their Client Manager role is for somebody to take the day to day responsibility for the whole Financial Planning process for your own bank of clients including client meetings, Paraplanning, Administration etc, from start to finish. Your role as a Trainee would involve more Administration than Paraplanning although you will be trained on Report Writing and Research skills over time. You'll be working in a team of 4 including 2 Client Partners (Wealth Managers), one experienced Client Manager and yourself (Trainee Client Manager).

Working exclusively with UHNW individuals, this company are seeking highly competent, motivated individuals to help drive the business forwards. Nearly all members of staff are Graduates and have strong academic backgrounds as well as a good level of Professional Qualification.

There will be plenty of opportunity to progress within the company as they grow and for those whose aim is to eventually become a Paraplanner or Financial Planner this could be an ideal move. The work will be very varied and interesting. The Advice is Investment lead but they also work with Private Equity, Segregated Accounts, ETFS, Offshore Bonds, SIPPs, Cashflow Modelling (for which they have their own in-house system).

Candidates should have previous experience of Financial Planning Administration and should have a good technical knowledge including using various Provider Platforms and research tools. Those who have studied for Diploma Qualifications will be at an advantage. Candidates should also be confident, personable and professional individuals with the ability to deal with HNW individuals. Package on this position is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
