MB Fitzgerald are currently working with a leading international Financial Services and Insurance organisation to recruit for a Pension Transfer Adviser to join their telephone based advice team in Leeds.
In this regulated Financial Planning role the adviser will be working with existing clients of the business, providing pension transfer specialist advice where their Advisers have recognised a requirement for this with their client's.
- Maintain a high degree of contact with clients via the telephone in line with agreed measurable service levels
- Adhere to their client's policies and procedures including Treating Customer Fairly.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant products, propositions and legislative requirements, both current and in the future.
- Demonstrate a commitment to personal development through the enrolment on internal or external training programmes.
Successful applicants MUST be Level 4 Diploma qualified and a relevant and valid Pension Transfer Specialist qualification such as AF7. My client will consider candidates from an Adviser, Compliance, PT Specialist or Paraplanning role assuming that you have the correct qualifications. You must be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written and should have a strong technical knowledge of financial services products, in particular pensions.
The position will be almost entirely desk based but there will be occasions when this could lead to face to face experience. Candidates with previous Telephone based sales or Advice experience would be at an advantage. There will be opprtunities for progression within the business in the future, with candidates able to move into a holistic financial planner role in the future.
