Junior Paraplanner - Staffordshire - Full time, permanent - Salary negotiable to £29,000 plus Bonus and Benefits

MB Fitgzerald Recruitment are currently working with a Staffordshire based firm of Financial Planners who are looking to add a Junior Paraplanner to their busy team. The company are well established in the area and specialise in providing whole of market financial advice to private clients at retirement age and thereafter.

As a Junior Paraplanner, it is expected that you will take on the company's guidance and training as well as studying independently, to become a full Paraplanner. Eventually, you will be responsible for research, report writing, providing quotations and preparing the suitability reports for the financial advisers to whom you support. As a Junior, you will be learning the full Paraplanner role, using your existing experience to take on lower level Paraplanner or Senior Administrative tasks yourself, whilst shadowing more senior staff who will help you learn the more senior/ technical duties.

Paraplanners at this business work closely with the Financial Advisers and will enjoy plenty of client interaction, making this a varied and interesting position.

Role Requirements:

Candidates MUST have previous experience within a firm of Financial Advisers. You should have some basic suitability report writing experience and a good knowledge of financial services products, in particular Pensions and Investments. You should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and ideally you will have started your studies towards the Diploma Financial Planning. However, those who are happy to work towards this qualification will also be considered and the company will fully support you with studies towards the Diploma and on to the Advanced Diploma should you wish to continue to level 6.

The company are willing to offer a generous salary and benefits package including Pension, DIS, PMI and study support. This is a full time, office based position (once lockdown restrictions are lifted). Working hours are Mon-Fri 9-5.
