Role: Junior IT Systems Analyst

Our client is looking for a Junior IT System Analyst to add expertise to their IT Services team, while supporting the Head of IT, the Infrastructure Manager and the IT Helpdesk Lead with implementing infrastructure solutions that meet IT service and strategic objectives.

They are undertaking a significant IT transformation project at this time, replacing many legacy systems and technologies with modern versions.

Some global travel and out of hours work may be required. The helpdesk covers 07:00-18:00, split into three shifts, the early shift works remotely

Experience Required

  • Provide 2nd line support for all offices
  • Ensure tickets are responded to within set SLA's
  • Support all user desktops, laptops and peripherals
  • Configure and deploy all end user hardware
  • Maintain hardware inventory, asset tagging etc
  • Ensure systems are kept up to date with relevant security patches
  • Basic server administration - including folder administration and permissions
  • Ensure adherence to existing IT policies and support any new one
  • Work closely with HQ on new initiatives

Must have

  • Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office
  • Demonstrable knowledge of PC hardware

Advantageous to have

  • 1 Year+ working in desktop support
  • Applicable IT education
