We are currently seeking to recruit for a Investment Administrator to join the Investment Management division of a prestigious wealth management firm. This firm has a storied history dating back to the mid-18th century and has established itself as a key player in the wealth management industry through continuous evolution and growth, offering a wide range of investment and wealth management services.
Within the Investment Management division, there is a specialised team focused on the blue economy, which includes all industries and sectors related to oceans, seas, and coasts, both marine-based and terrestrial. This vacancy will sit within this team.
The firm manages assets exceeding £50 billion and provides comprehensive services in investment management, financial planning, and wealth management to a diverse clientele, including individuals, charities, and institutions.
The current requirement is for an Investment Administrator to be a part of the London based Blue Economy Team within the Investment Management division. This role is ideal for either a recent graduate with over 6 months of experience in Investment Management or an individual with more than a year of experience in the field looking to specialise in the blue economy sector.
Role Responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining client and business stakeholder relationships, leveraging business and client requirement knowledge to achieve desired outcomes.
- Managing the client lifecycle administration process for efficiency and timeliness.
- Taking responsibility for client administration tasks and serving as the primary liaison between clients, the investment team, operations, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensuring adherence to all client lifecycle processes in line with the firm's operating model, including account management, onboarding, transfers, and quarterly valuations, while also proposing process improvements.
- Supporting the investment team in understanding client suitability requirements, including information gathering for client suitability and producing client summaries/welcome letters.
- Collaborating with the team and wider administration functions to share and develop best practices.
- Being the initial point of contact for clients and handling administration queries, including participating in client meetings and leading discussions on client administration matters.
Compensation Package includes:
- A base salary up to £45,000, with an annual discretionary bonus.
