Operations Change Business Analyst (12 month fixed term contract) - National Investment Management Organisation - London, Hybrid

Our client is a national organisation who are dedicated to providing exceptional investment management services to their clients. They currently seek to recruit for an Operations Change Business Analyst to join the business on a 12-month contract.
Purpose:
A role within Operations to help support business efficiency change and process improvements by having a deep understanding of the department, roles, functions, processes and systems within it. To perform a key role in documenting, designing and implementing business system and operational change.
As part of the role you will be required to support development for business efficiency changes; implementation and communication of these changes to internal and external stakeholders, as well as maintain & enhance metric reporting establishing the effectiveness of change initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with the various operational teams, deep understanding of their motivations and importance of their day-to-day processing, the challenges, frustrations with the role and desired process improvements.
- Document key ‘As is processes’ in Business Optix, highlighting areas for process improvements and ensuring Operational teams maintain time in motion and associated procedures.
- Functional Microsoft Dynamics/ Power Platform experience to assist with key Operational projects and post delivery implementing configuration changes to Power Apps, such as adding fields, views, forms and power automate flows.
- Maintain a close relationship with business and system analysts to gain greater understanding of the role they play and how to get operational requirements documented upfront.
- Utilise team MI to help prioritise decisions and focus with a project.
- Review live CRs / Bugs and gain understanding on both small impact and big impact task from both a business and IT perspective.
- Review all Business requirement documents (BRD) in detail before signing off.
- To act as point of contact within projects to identity potential operational impacts early on in process to understand impact on the team.
Skills:
- Business Optix experience
- Microsoft Dynamic / Power Platform experience
- Organisation of workload to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
Knowledge:
- Previous experience of working in a busy operations department is essential
- Previous experience of business analysis and BRD reviews is desired
- Knowledge of Pershing systems is an advantage
