One of the UK’s and Europe’s leading Wealth Management firms is seeking to recruit a Business Standards Analyst to assist with suitability report reviews within their Private Client Advice Division

Our client provides regulated financial and investment advice to clients across the UK and Europe. As a Business Assurance Analyst, you will review and assess suitability reports related to money purchase pensions, ISAs, General Investment Accounts, investment bonds (onshore and offshore) and trusts to ensure that all financial and investment advice recommendations are in our clients' best interests and meet internal standards.

Duties:

  • Review suitability reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Engage with internal clients to gather additional information and clarifications
  • Provide constructive feedback to report writers and address inquiries promptly
  • Collaborate with management to identify process improvements
  • Participate in roundtable meetings to discuss review findings and suggest improvements

Your Qualifications:

  • University graduate or equivalent experience
  • Level 4 qualified – Diploma in Financial Planning/Regulated Financial Planning
  • Level 6/Chartered status and relevant qualifications preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles, especially in pension planning
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for suitability
  • Experience in reviewing personal recommendations for retail clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Dynamic interpersonal skills to provide professional service to internal clients
