Location: Nottingham (Hybrid – 2 days office / 3 days home)
Salary: Up to £45,000 + discretionary bonus + comprehensive benefits

I’m working exclusively with a highly respected, fully independent and Chartered financial planning firm that has grown significantly in recent years and now manages approximately £2bn AUM. They offer a broad range of services across Wealth Management, Employee Benefits, Corporate Wealth and Mortgages, and are known for their strong professional culture and commitment to staff development.

They are now seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their successful advice team and play a key role in supporting high-quality client outcomes.


The Role

As a Paraplanner, you will be a vital part of the financial planning process, working closely with a team of experienced Financial Planners. You’ll provide technical support, undertake detailed research, and produce high-quality reports to ensure clients receive clear, accurate and compliant advice.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed research and analysis to support financial planning recommendations.

  • Prepare clear, comprehensive suitability reports and associated documentation.

  • Work closely with Financial Planners, Compliance and other internal teams.

  • Ensure all client files and records meet FCA and internal compliance standards.

  • Support the production of financial plans, cashflow forecasts and investment analysis.

  • Maintain strong knowledge of financial products and industry developments.

  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support workload as required.


About You

  • Previous paraplanning experience within financial planning or wealth management.

  • Diploma-qualified (Level 4) with strong technical knowledge.

  • Skilled in research, report writing and analysing client financial situations.

  • High attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Proficient with MS Office and financial planning software/tools.
