A boutique City based Wealth Managers who provide high level advice to both UK and International client is seeking to recruit an ambitious Trainee Financial Planner with client facing capabilities.

Main Purpose of job:
To provide support to the Financial Planner Relationships:

Main tasks of job:

  • Preparation of client suitability reports across a range of advice
  • Undertaking research within the market for specific financial products/investments * Preparation of client meeting packs (initial and annual review)
  • Producing quotations, valuations and illustrations for investments, mortgages and protection
  • Submission of new business and adherence to compliance procedures * Completing ad hoc adviser requests in a timely manner
  • Attendance and support at client meetings as required The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

Requirements of Candidate:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to prioritise workload and complete tasks within required timescale
  • A good team player and able to work on own initiative
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, even when under pressure
  • Good numeracy and computer skills including being proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience in preparation of suitability reports preferred
  • Previous experience with an IFA practice preferred
  • Ideally part-qualified towards CII/CISI Level 4 exams and willing to continue learning & development
