Paraplanner/ Technical Wealth Management Support - West Midlands/ Staffordshire - Home based up to 4 days per week - Salary negotiable around £25-30K (ideally lower end)

MB Fitzgerald are currently working with an UHNW Wealth Management business in the West Midlands region.

Our client are an investment focused business who work with a small number of ultra-high-net-worth families. Beyond portfolio management, they can also provide other non-financial services, management and accounting to provide a substantial service to their clients under one roof.

They currently need some additional support in the technical wealth management area and so are looking for somebody to join in that capacity. The closest interpretation of the role would be a Paraplanner (or Junior Paraplanner) but because of the way the business work, it is likely to be different to what you'd expect in a traditional IFA business.

We are looking for someone who is technically strong but also service orientated and there will potentially be the opportunity for this person to move into a Wealth Manager role in the future. The main responsibilities will include Report Writing, technical research and detailing for reports, administrative assistance, compliance support, cashflow forecasting etc.

Ideally we are looking for someone who is level 4 qualified although they may be willing to consider someone who is working towards this.

The company can offer flexible working up to 4 days per week which can be a permanent arrangement as long as performance levels stay high. It is working well with existing staff and so they see no reason to change. You must be able to attend the Staffordshire based office once a week for meetings (and be available to attend on other occasions if needed).
