A highly successful financial advisory practice based out of Watford are looking to recruit a Technical Paraplanner to join a fast paced, friendly and supportive team.

This role is slighly different to a standard paraplanning role as the majority of the clients business is invested via their platform and into their model portfolios. The role will focus ensuring the best financial planning model has been produced based on each client's financial needs and preparing a clear and concise investment report.

Candidates will be in a position to apply the technical knowledge they have acquired from examinations and experience gained within the financial planning or wealth market. You will be a confident communicator with a clear understanding of the advice process and must be confident with the ability to challenge recommendations if required.

Duties will include -
Attend some client meetings alongside the Financial Planner and create meeting minutes in order to document a client's financial needs and objectives.
Maintain an ongoing relationship with the clients, keeping them informed and answering queries.
Carry out research and analyse products and services appropriate to each client's financial circumstances then discussing appropriate solutions with the Financial Planner.
Prepare clear investment strategy, mandate, and recommendation reports, for review by the Financial Planner.
Create long term cash flow forecasts for clients using Truth/Cashcalc software.

The client is ideally seeking an experienced Paraplanner holding the Diploma exams (or near to completing Diploma) who is able to deal with a variety of cases, report writing and IFA research on a daily basis, and be able to show initiative and work ethic within the role.

This opportunity would suit someone who likes working in a busy working environment and being part of a close knit team. My client also some flexibility to work from home.
