MB Fitzgerald are currently working with a boutique firm of Financial Planners in the Bolton area who are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join them and support their Advisers.

They are looking for an experienced paraplanner to join the team with the ability to research and recommend the most suitable products for clients on behalf of the Financial Planners, and produce bespoke and compliant suitability reports. Working closely with the MD, and Financial Planning team at all times, you will utilise technology to produce accurate solutions for clients, carrying out product research and relevant financial calculations.

You will gain exposure to HNW advice and may sometimes be required to sit in on client meetings with the Advisers. For the right candidate, it will be possible to gain CF30 status in order to Advise clients when the Planner is unavailable or at particularly busy times.

You will also be responsible to prepare packs and reports for the Financial Planners to take to client meetings, manage cases to completion and ensure business is processed correctly following a client meeting, using the Electronic Business Submission system where possible. As a small team, they all help out during busy times or holidays so there may also be Administrative duties.

Candidates must be experienced Paraplanners and will have a strong knowledge of Pensions, Investments and other financial services products. Ideally you will be Diploma qualified as a minimum although experienced Paraplanners working towards this will be considered. In order to attract the best candidates the company are willing to pay a competitive salary and are also willing to consider an element of flexibility so those looking for part time (3 or 4 days per week), different working hours or perhaps even someone who wants to work from home one day per week would be considered.
