Paraplanner - Bury - Full time or Part time/ reduced hours, permanent - Salary to £45,000 plus Bonus and Benefits

MB Fitgzerald Recruitment are currently working with a Bury based firm of Chartered Financial Planners who are looking to add an experienced Paraplanner to their hard-working, close-knit team. The company are well established in the area and specialise in providing whole of market financial advice to private clients.

The company:

  • The business are part of a large, North-West based Accountancy practice but the Financial Planning team has only 11 staff currently, including 4 Advisors
  • You'll enjoy a relaxed working environment with people who genuinely enjoy their jobs and working with eachother.

The role:

  • As a Paraplanner, you will be responsible for research, report writing, providing quotations and preparing the suitability reports for the financial advisers to whom you support.
  • You'll work closely with the Financial Advisers and will enjoy plenty of client interaction, making this a varied and interesting position.
  • You will mainly be working with the company's Director, a Senior Financial Planner who is the highest producing Advisor at the business.
  • You will work alongside one other Paraplanner in supporting the Director and will also be supported by a dedicated Administration team allowing you to focus on more senior/ technical duties. Another Paraplanner provides most of the support for the other Advisors

Role Requirements:

  • Candidates MUST be an experienced Paraplanner having recently worked in a similar role within a firm of Financial Advisers. You must be a competent report writer with a good knowledge of financial services products, in particular Pensions and Investments. You should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and as a small business with less than 15 staff, it's important that you can fit in well with their friendly, hard working team.
  • Ideally you will be Diploma Qualified but those who are happy to work towards this qualification will also be considered. The company will fully support you with studies towards the Diploma and on to the Advanced Diploma should you wish to continue to level 6 and those that already have these qualificatiobs will be at an advantage.
