MB Fitzgerald are currently working exclusively with a fast growing firm of UHNW Wealth Managers based in the centre of Manchester who are looking to hire for their Investment Administration team. Due to an increase in Investment Management business, the company are keen to ensure that they have specialist Investment support in place and ensure that clients continue to receive a first class service.

Set up by Senior Executives with backgrounds in Private Banking and Financial Planning; companies such as Credit Suisse, Coutts, Goldman Sachs and Baker Tilly, this company is competing with the UK's top Wealth Management & Private Banking businesses and now has three successful offices.

Working exclusively with UHNW individuals, this company are seeking highly competent, motivated individuals to help drive the business forwards. They are currently looking to build a new team of 2 staff in their busy Manchester head office to oversee the administration of the portfolios they manage across the various platforms that they use.


  • Act as the first port of call for any investment administration related queries from Partners and their clients
  • Opening new accounts, administration of deceased accounts and regularly liaising with the relevant back office department to ensure portfolio transfers are facilitated.
  • Calculating CGT and book costs, carrying out client payments, making ISA subscriptions and providing valuations and tax positions.
  • Reconciliations
  • Preparing reports, correspondence and other relevant documentation including investment proposals.

You must be an experienced Investment Administrator from a Platform, DFM, Investment Bank or other Financial Services organisation. Candidates who have studied for specialist qualifications such as the Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) will be preferred although this is not essential. You should be a quick learner and ideally will be educated to Degree level. Those with a strong mathematical capability and IT skills such as Excel will be at an advantage.
