Our client is looking for a Qualified Accountant with extensive experience within internal Audit, with a background in Insurance to support the Head of Internal Audit in providing independent and objective assurance and advice designed to assess and enhance the effectiveness of the Group's management of risk and the operational control environment. Duties will include, Audit planning, reporting and following up on Audit recommendation. Ensuring the delivery of audit assignments across the Group of Companies. The role will focus on the independent evaluation and appraisal of the internal controls over the key business processes and to provide independent feedback to the CRO.

Experience Required:

The ideal candidate will have a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA or CMA) and ideally be progressing towards a professional IA Qualification (CIIA or CIA). You will have a strong understanding of auditing and IIA standards and have previous experience in a similar role working for an Insurance company (London Market) ideally with a Lloyd's of London background.

Salary - £70,000 - £80,000 plus excellent benefits
