The Client: Our client specialises in providing comprehensive financial planning solutions to individuals and businesses across the Midlands. They are dedicated to providing a first class client service while ensuring compliance and efficiency in every aspect of their operations.
Role Overview: As the Practice Manager, you will be at the helm of overseeing the day-to-day operations of their wealth management practice, including the management of the Administration and Paraplanning Teams.
Your role will encompass ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining compliance standards, and delivering exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the operations of the practice, including administrative functions, paraplanning, and client service.
- Diary management for the Managing Director, including client communication, meeting scheduling, and preparation of meeting packs.
- Supervise and support a team of 5, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities to add value.
- Plan and execute client events and liaise with third-party providers to ensure efficient handling of client funds.
- Monitor the pipeline diligently and provide weekly updates on progress with a focus on high-priority cases.
- Collaborate with financial advisors and team members to optimize workflow and enhance client experiences.
- Oversee client onboarding processes, account maintenance, and reporting activities.
- Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in wealth management or financial services, with a proven track record in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Financial Planning regulations.
- Previous experience managing a team.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with wealth management software platforms.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
