Financial Planning Administrator - Prestwich, Greater Manchester - to £30K plus Benefits 

MBF Recruitment are currently representing a trusted client in the financial planning sector who is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks crucial to the smooth operation of the business.

Our client specialise in providing Financial Advice, mainly in the areas of Pensions, Investments and Protection, to private clients. They have a small, close knit team of staff who work closely together to ensure that clients receive the high levels of service that they have come to expect from this organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare appropriate client meeting packs for introductory, fact-find, review, and presentation meetings.
  • Create new client records within Salesforce and SharePoint for new business and prospects.
  • Maintain fully compliant records and update back office system
  • Update records after every client meeting, including taking notes.
  • Update business cases on relevant tracking and processing spreadsheets.
  • Process all business end-to-end in a timely manner.
  • Handle withdrawals, contributions, fund switches, and client requests using the company’s systems.
  • Track LoA's and update systems accordingly.
  • Proofread suitability letters.
  • Assist clients with completion of medical questionnaires.
  • Provide timely updates to clients on the progress of their business.
  • Ensure registration with new external providers.
  • Answer telephone calls within agreed service levels

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have at least 1 year's experience working in a similar role
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Deliver a first-class service in line with company standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Approach work positively with a can-do attitude and take responsibility for tasks.
  • Maintain a flexible approach to work.

Terms: 

  • Competitive basic salary of up to around £30,000, dependent on experience
  • Full time, 5 days per week (some flexi time available) 
  • On site position based in Prestwich
  • 22 days holiday plus BH
  • Study support towards Diploma qualifications
  • Pension
