Financial Planner - Retention role, managing existing clients across the Midlands - Remote working - Salary negotiable depending on experience, plus car and benefits

MB Fitzgerald are currently working with a highly respected Financial Planning business who have a large client base across the UK. Their current requirement is for an experienced Financial Planner to join their team, servicing existing clients based in the Midlands.

The company are well known as leaders in the personal injury court of protection sector (PICOP) and as such they have a loyal client following, many of whom have been with the business for decades. As specialists in the PICOP market, many of their clients have suffered life changing injuries and rely on the company to ensure that their funds will pay for all of their care requirements.

The role:

  • Almost all of your duties will be retention focused, ensuring that the clients receive the care and attention that they are accustomed to.
  • You must keep up to date with all product, technical and legislative changes, advising the clients of any recommended changes to their portfolios, ensuring clients receive an annual review meeting to understand and assess their current needs, objectives and risk profiles
  • With the support of the Admin team, provide confirmation of any advice given during the reviews
  • Liaise with other departments, spotting new business opportunities and ensuring that they are passed on

Requirements:

  • Candidates MUST be experienced Financial Advisors and should have provided advice to private clients in the areas of Pensions, Investments, Trusts, Protection etc.
  • Candidates MUST be Diploma qualified as a minimum.
  • Candidates should be dedicated to exceptional client service, maintaining the high standards that the company have set.
  • You should be compassionate, hard-working, personable and reliable
