Job Title: Finance Assistant

Description: We are looking for a graduate with ideally an Accountancy and Finance related degree that has gained some experience with in the Insurance sector. You will need to have a good team playing attitude and good Communication Skills.

Requirements/Experience: Your duties every day will be:

    • Processing of supplier invoices onto the Accounting System
    • Control, monitor and review outstanding invoices with prompt resolution of queries
    • Ensure all supplier invoices are approved and paid in accordance with company policies
    • Processing of credit cards and out-of-pocket expenses submissions and payments
    • Undergoing reconciliations across multiple bank accounts on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
    • Maintaining supplier details
    • Preparing intercompany invoices
    • Assist in the reconciliation of intercompany balances
    • Ad hoc duties as requested by management

This is a great opportunity for someone who has an interest in the Insurance Industry but also a desire to train for accountancy exams.

Experience Required:

  • Finance related degree or strong A'levels
  • Experienced gained within a finance function
  • Experience within the London Insurance Market would be beneficial
  • Studying towards an accountancy qualification (ACCA)
