Progressive, high-performing IFA firm looking for an experienced Paraplanner to their select team.

My client is a technologically advanced financial planning firm, with high productivity, in need of a star Paraplanner to support their advising Managing Director, and existing remote Paraplanner, in-house. You will work closely and collaboratively with the advising Managing Director to provide an ongoing service to clients - mostly senior company executives and high-net-worth private individuals. At times, you may be expected to communicate with, or present to, these clients.

The firm uses Voyant extensively so experience with cash-flow-modelling (preferably Voyant) software is vital. You will prepare and update cash-flow forecasts for each client review. You must be experienced, among other things, in researching VCT/EIS investments and with DB transfer advice. The majority of their suitability reports are provided by their remote Paraplanner; however, you will be involved in suitability report writing for new business as well as providing ongoing research and reviews.

You will ensure business and workflow are progressed/completed within a timely fashion and to a high standard, have a strong attention to detail, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enjoy working as part of a team yet have the ability to push back when necessary during client planning discussions. Positioned between the MD and their admin staff you will act as a knowledge bridge, you must be comfortable with explaining/minor-tutoring should the admin team require clarification. You will be qualified to Level 4 Diploma and ideally be working towards Chartered status (the firm plans to reach this level by 2019).

You will be joining the company at an opportune time (expanding quickly) allowing you - presuming your necessary skill, dedication and hard work - to rise quickly within the firm, with the scope to move into either management or to become a Financial Adviser.
