To manage the day-to-day activities of the compliance function, assisting in the maintenance and development of a robust compliance framework and in the provision of information and assurance to senior management regarding the firm’s compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and work with the Head of Regulatory Operations to lead the function.
- Oversee and ensure that the compliance needs of each of client managed syndicates and MGAs are met.
- oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of appropriate and effective compliance policies and procedures.
- Oversee compliance with Conduct Risk requirements, ensuring that appropriate monitoring, management information, training and other controls are in place and effective.
- Proactively monitor regulatory developments and provide visibility of upcoming changes to its managed syndicates and its MGAs.
- Provide expert analysis and guidance to the client and its managed syndicates and MGAs on regulatory matters.
