They are about to embark on an aggressive recruitment drive to expand the entire business - including new Financial Advisers - over the next year so this role provides the candidate with the opportunity to join early and to grow along with the business. Candidates must be hungry to succeed, meticulous with their work and thrive under pressure.
You will be responsible for all operational aspects of the business, including managing the smooth running of the office utilities, managing and working alongside the existing administration team, supporting the advising Managing Director pre and post client reviews/meetings, liaising with paraplanning and providers. Recruitment and training of administration staff. Liaising with clients and Company Directors. Supporting directors in producing marketing material and event managing. You need to be able to turn your hand to anything and everything and thrive on the variety as well and enjoy the repetitive day to day of processing financial planning business.
Ideally you will be Level 4 Financial Adviser Diploma qualified and have held a senior position in a financial planners/advisers for the last five years. The role could suit a high quality Paraplanner seeking to move into a managerial role
Candidates must be up-to-date with all aspects of IFA administrative business processing including back-office systems, FE Analytics, submitting business on platforms and it would be a bonus if you knew how to use cash-flow-modelling technology such as Voyant. And it goes without saying that you should be proficient with all general admin software such and Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Mail Merges etc.
