Our client is a highly regarded Wrap Platform business who are currently seek to recruit for a Business Development Manager to join their team. The role will be home / field based covering the London & South-East Region.
The role itself will be to prospect new business in the Wealth Manager/Financial Advisor/Financial Planner space, selling the company's wrap platform.
The role involves extensive direct contact with intermediaries, developing business opportunities and promoting the organisations wrap platform.
You'll be expected to win, manage, service and develop business with suitable intermediaries, commensurate with the expertise and experience of someone in this position. This is to be primarily home & field based but there would be a requirement to visit the office from time to time for meetings.
The successful candidate must be aware that regular travel will be involved to visit clients, which may include some overnight stays. Of course, all travel expenses will be covered.
We are searching for an experienced Business Development Manager from a Financial Services background. You must have a knowledge of investments and an understanding of Wrap Platforms and what they are, although training can be provided in this area. Candidates could come from a business development background in a variety of fields; IFA, Investment Management, Platform Sales, Providers, Back office software sales etc. Those who have experience dealing with intermediaries in London, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk would have an advatage.
Base salary for this role is up to £90,000 + Bonus.
