Head of Financial Planning
- The Head of Financial Planning will typically work alongside the Finance Director, whilst being directly responsible for overseeing the company’s long-term business direction and taking a direct lead with the preparation and delivery of the holistic financial planning strategy

Financial Planner
- A UK Financial Planner will be CF30 authorised and work closely with their clients to organise their financial affairs, ensuring long term prosperity and project the results of their client’s savings and investments to ensure a stable retirement plan
- Other job titles include; IFA, Independent Financial Advisor, Wealth Manager and Wealth Planners
Paraplanner Team Manager
- A Paraplanner Team Manager will be directly responsible for managing a team of Paraplanners, which includes undertaking annual reviews, reviewing select paraplanning reports and providing in depth support and technical guidance to the Paraplanners on their team
- Other job titles include; Technical Team Manager
Paraplanner
- A Paraplanner will liaise with Financial Planners ensuring they understand the need of the client, undertake conclusive research on funds, products, wrappers and produce a comprehensive report for the Financial Advisor to present to their client. Some Paraplanners are expected to attend client meetings with advisors where appropriate

Financial Planning Administrator
- A Financial Planning Administrator will administer new business, process fund switch instructions, update client databases, generate valuation reports and carry out general administrative tasks
- Other job titles include; Financial Planning Assistant, IFA Administrator, IFA Support, Wealth Planning Administrator, Wealth Planning Assistant and Sales Support
Financial Planning Graduate
- A graduate entering financial planning will typically venture down two paths. Firstly, which is the most frequent, is training to become a financial planning administrator whilst studying for relevant CII exams
The rarer path would be moving into a Graduate Trainee Financial Planner role which typically sees the candidate CII Level 4 qualified and a CF30 Financial Planner within 2 to 3 years. In order to be considered for this graduate opportunity candidates are typically expected to have attained a 1st class degree within Mathematics, Financial Planning, Investment Management and other higher tier subjects
